The Valley County Board of Supervisors is seeking resumes from qualified applicants for appointment to the position of the Valley County Clerk. The appointed Clerk will need to reside in Valley County upon appointment. The term of office is from appointment through the duration of the unexpired term ending January 5, 2027. Any interested person is to submit a resume to the Valley County Clerk’s Office, 125 S 15th Street, Ord, NE 68862, (308) 728-3700, or via email at clerk@valleycountyne.gov. Any documents must be submitted to the Valley County Clerk’s Office by no later than 4:30 pm on December 2, 2024 in order to be considered. The Valley County Board of Supervisors has scheduled a special meeting to interview potential candidates, and that meeting will occur at 6 pm on December 9, 2024. Appointment of a successor as the Valley County Clerk is tentatively scheduled to occur on December 10, 2024, at 11:30 am during regular session of the Valley County Board of Supervisors. 47-2tc
